Collaborations
I have met many artists in many media over my 30 years as a working artist. The following collaborations provide insight into what can be created when two different artists fuse their visions and respective media into a unique work of art.
Gilewicz/Craft
Intaglio-like soapstone carvings (Gilewicz) incorporated into woven materials like baskets (Craft).

Gilewicz/Benedetto
Custom production of a mold (Gilewicz) for slip casting to create ceramic Buffalo (Benedetto), which were the glazed or hand painted by the artists to meet custom orders. Three molds were produced, and quantity was limited by life/castings per mold.

Gilewicz/Weaver
Custom designed stone bases (Gilewicz) with sculptural wire/tube supports designed to accentuate and highlight one of kind blown glass vases (Weaver).

Gilewicz/Watkins
Sculptural works and structure (Gilewicz) with surface painting/treatment of finished creation (Watkins and Gilewicz).
Majority of works sold. Remainder exhibited until consumed by weather.
Gilewicz/Miller
Custom sized and turned wood bases (Miller) designed to support rotating sculpture in reduced size of the Heads and Tails Buffalo constructed for the Roswell Park Cancer Institute’s “Herd about Buffalo” fundraiser.

Global collaboration with individuals around the world resulting in over 1,000 creative contributions to the Boundaries Borders and Walls Art Project.
