So much for my adherence to the standard definition of art and its various medium. It is not out of disrespect, but why not simply blow it all up with my first endeavor? I broke out of the mold and take my art in the direction my creative inspiration moves me at the time, and I must say – I am having a blast!

My first foray into book arts was Rock Dude, in 2005, sold alongside a make-your-own kit. I blended literature and art – or arts potential – into this kit, creating a hands-on experience. In Canada, it was sold for “ten and a toonie” (USD $10 at the time). Priced right and with tongue firmly in cheek, every copy was sold, save a few I kept for posterity. Completely sold out and out of print (for now), the Rock Dude is being updated in 2023 for a roll out in 2024.
